of pre-reformation bells in Devon . Northleigh is set in the heart
of the Coly Valley which leads down to the interesting medieval town
of Colyton four miles away. Being in the East Devon Area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty and with the East Devon Way passing right, by our cottages
provide a perfect opportunity to explore the quiet footpaths and lanes

The recently designated World
Heritage Jurassic coastline is only some 5 or 6 miles away with the
delightful villages of Beer and Branscombe and larger seaside towns
such as Sidmouth and Lyme Regis within easy reach. Further afield
we are only 15 miles from the cathedral city of Exeter with Dartmoor
and Exmoor easily reachable for a day trip. In addition to the natural
beauty of the countryside and coastline there are numerous attractions
in the area including Pecorama at Beer, the Seaton Tramway, The Donkey
Sanctuary, Bicton Park and several National Trust properties.
